The Right wing is finished and the fuselage has met the
empennage!!!!
January 10, 2008- Engine and proper were delivered!
Work is progressing on well on the right wing.
December 24, 2007 - Campout at the hanger! Girls
and Dad came to visit at the hangar as work on the right wing continues.
Orli and Ella help insert the rivets into the wing
spar/rib assembly.
December 7, 2007 - Moved plane to a new hanger!
Wow what a difference, I actually have room to work.
Left wing is complete and all 50% of the Right wing is
complete as well. the fuselage has been received,
I cheated and purchased the Quick Build version :-)
February 20, 2007 - Well, the long
overdue update is here. Have two more kids and not much
more of a plane :-) All kidding
aside, fuel tank is moving along nicely... will post pics soon
August 29 - September 10 Left Wing and
Left Outboard Leading Edge
August 24 - 28 Left Wing - More
assembly... kids came down to help.
August 20 - 22 Moved Wing kit from office to garage, sorted all parts and
started working. To date, the left main spar is prepped, gas tank
nut plates have been installed and the aft ribs have been installed with
clecos. Fabricated flap attachment parts.
August 17, 2006The empenage is
complete!!! Next I start on the wings. Finished tail cone and
riveted trim tab / elevator hinge.
August 13, 2006... more work on the tail
cone... and for those of you who do not know me... a picture of me :-)
